Holy Shit this took a little longer than usualmainly due to the way I wanted to animate tails and all(did not think he would take more time to finish then sonic lol)

The way Sonic does the "Shhh!" motion and Tails nods just reminds me of Tom & Jerry or Looney Tunes. Tails losing his balance is just the cherry on the cake X3

Good comparison! I'm just now noticing the cute little nod Tails does in response to Sonic's "shhh" motion. Definitely reminiscent of Tom and Jerry whenever Jerry would have Tuffy/Nibbles in tow while trying to get one over on Tom.

Y'know, this would make that bit where they're spying on Eggman (I think it was in Green Hill Zone?) a little bit neater rather than having them just do their normal ducking animation.
