This happened. Sure, I gave it my own lense, but it's canon.Plausible deniability is something I have eventually come to accept as a part of FIM's DNA, or a spice in the recipe I have learned to enjoy. Lyra and Bonbon's proposal and marriage sealed the irrefutably canon relationship that proved that gay relationships in MLP are real and actually celebrated among our beloved colorful Ponies. Plausible deniability might have kept the show from being pulled from many a market, increasing the human exposure to this series I wish upon everyone, everywhere, but it also lent an aspect of Twin Peaks or LOST to the show, where the audience is licensed to theorize, even fantasize about what really goes on between Ponies between scenes...
