Happy New Years...I’m super busy right now (between having a horrible head cold and not sleeping I’ve been given a month of overtime at the hospital... did I mention I was made permanent? I totally was! Benefits and paid holidays WHOOO!!!) so I won’t have a real update for a while... so here’s this.
I’m drawing a new comic (a short one) to see if this limited lined style actually works but really hated the head one view of Rio using my older model sheets, so I spent sometime updating it to make the hair less wonky so this is the result!
She’s got a new skin color and snake pupils now too...
so yep... that’s all.

For some reason the first thing this reminded me of was the old Batman cartoons where his face would fly out at you during scene changes. I'm liking the new streamlined look, It'll be interesting to see the finished comic.
Also, congrats on the job; I too was made permanent , just this last Friday. It's beginning to feel like the economy's finally turned the corner. (I've also had that horrible cold, but I think the whole Bay Area's had it by now).
