Many at the College of Mysteries have a suspicion or simple dislike of Mordred. The reason for this is not to do with anything she has specifically done to them, but what her three daughters have done to deserve the ire of the College. Despite this, the College still allows her to work with them, as she is not directly the cause of any of her daughter's actions. There are those within the College who don't see it like this, however. Some believe that by Mordred not acting on, or inactively searching for, her daughters, she is complicit in their deeds that cause harm or discredit the greatness of the College of Mysteries. But, in the end, the truth of the matter is that they are not even her daughters; it is what she calls those who are placed under her tutelage.

Dana Cartwright. She would become known as The Wraith. She came to the College from a Noble family, her destiny to become a Holy Mage, and possibly even head to the Papal Knights to become a Sister and rise through the ranks. She was kind, soft; a gentle soul. The tragedy of a gentle soul is that of when it can no longer be gentle. In wishing to only save the people who had taken her prisoner, locked her away and refused her simple necessities, she attempted to use a magic not yet understood by her. Dana intended to use a spell to become a Low Avatar of the Goddess to heal them of their sickness; but, instead, as sorrow and despair gnawed at her, a spirit took hold and the spell became twisted by those emotions. By the time Dana regained control, the town was silent, and there was nothing Dana could do to save them now. Now, Dana must contend with a constant whisper in her ear, and escape the pursuit of the same Papal Knights she once intended to join. Mordred is currently searching for a way to remove this curse of sorts, as even Dana has been unable to remove it... or simply doesn't want to.

Xiao Lan Fen. She would become known as The Deathhand. She was a talented summoner, who was able to trap a decently powerful snake spirit of unusual size. She was made a pariah and labeled a murderer after some fellow college students found out she wasn't from Thessaly, attempted to bully her and eventually one went too far and pulled a dagger on her. Lan Fen proceeded to --without thought-- defend herself with the snake spirit which ended up injecting its venom and killing the young man. Upon learning of this, Mordred helped Lan Fen flee via a friend who worked with transportation services. Lan Fen, however, refused to leave Thessaly, for she knew that there was no better fate back in her own homeland, and the news of her crimes would surely get back home. She would flee to the City-State of Dredorium to live out her life in a land similar to her home. Mordred regularly makes trips to visit her and check up on her.

Zeshi Creet. She is known as a few things; the Botany Witch, the Hermit, the Owl. She's still technically a student under Mordred, but she travels on her own in search of new fauna and flora. This has led Zeshi into some very interesting places, which might be seen in how she approaches situations, but also why she tends to be standoffish with normal folk. She is very protective of the books she totes around in her carriage, as each one contains seeds from plants, and if the seeds are too big she places them into individual containers. Zeshi has great knowledge and control over Earthly Magics, which she uses as Offensive, Defensive, and Healing. Some people tend to dislike Zeshi due to her strangeness, and at times a certain feral nature she seems to have. Zeshi also is known for her decision to not communicate with the College on her studies and findings. Mordred, despite feeling she is ready to move on from being a student, continues to label her a student for reasons more are unsure of currently.

Some believe the outcome of her daughters are due to Mordred's nonchalant nature to the aspects of magic. Mordred does not care about Good and Dark Magics, only that the one who wields it acts with the best intentions. She believes that mistakes and momentary lapses cannot solely dictate the reality of one's self. Mordred feels that if magic should dictate anyone, then she herself should be seen as a greater threat, as one of her spells are designed specifically for the execution of its target. Then again, there is a reason she is known as the Mother of War.
