I quite liked Mao; he made for an excellent villain and the three-part arc with him was a nice break from the Britannia/Black Knights stuff, in addition to foreshadowing Lelouch losing control of his Geass.Related content

Mao was a very interestingly well done villain, made me hate his guts in the right way for the arc to work.
Of course the super reversal of his character into Lelouch's best friend in Code MENT was pretty great too
