I wonder if anyone will notice what I’m wearing tonight. Majo thought as she got out of her car. She was very nervous tonight. Majo was so nervous that she forgot to put her lipstick and earrings on. Majo looked down and thought I should really be nervous with anyone caught wearing these. She was wearing two items tonight that she did not usually wear to work. Majo’s choice for tonight was a sparkly holographic blue bikini along with silver open face heels. This was not usually part of her wardrobe but she had a date with someone she met on Badoo after her radio show was over. Majo wanted to make their first date memorable.

As she walked into the radio, Majo’s co-worker Alex greeted her. Majo had a feeling Alex had a crush on her. There had been flirting between them but neither of them had ever reciprocated any of the feelings they had for each other. ‘’Hi. Majo, there are some of the songs we’re going to play tonight and some of the topics you can discuss with Pepe tonight’’, Alex said while he handed her a stack of papers. Majo reached to grab the stack of paper and reached carefully to retrieve them. Inadvertently, the sparkly holographic blue bikini she was wearing under her blouse was visible when Majo grabbed the papers from Alex. Majo caught Alex looking at her unique piece of lingerie. An awkward silence occurred between them and Majo broke it up by excusing herself to the restroom.

‘’Wow’’, Majo shouted once she went into the restroom. She was overwhelmed by what had happened. She realized that Alex was definitely interested in her. Would he better a man to date, than this stranger she had been talking to online, Majo thought. Majo looked in the mirror and made her decision. ‘’I will make a decision after the show and see what Alex does,’’ she said in front of the mirror as she put red lipstick and round earrings on.

The radio show ended and Majo waited for Alex to see if he would reveal his feelings for her. Alex approached her but suddenly an unknown noise was heard. Weapons were being fired and they were not from guns. The security guards were wiped out when the group entered the building. This group slowly approached the office. Majo could believe what she saw. This group consisted of the Martians that were responsible for the adductions of other media members in El Salvador. ‘’Why are they here?’’ Majo shouted to Alex and the other station employees. ‘’Our planet has a truce with them’’, she said while trying to control her emotions. The Martians changed their pace and approached Majo, Alex, and the other station employees. The Martians approached and would not listen to pleas to stop. Some of the male station employees began to approach the Martians to defend the other employees but were immediately disintegrated by the waves coming from the Martian weapons. Majo was scared and Alex noticed. He immediately stood in front of her. ‘’Majo, run into the studio and stay there’’, ’he shouted to her. Majo watched as a Martian fired a wave from their weapon and it hit him. He was not disintegrated by the weapon. The wave instead causes him to shrink. Majo watched in horror and screamed out aloud. Alex shrank to the size of the ant. The Martian raised his shoe and squished Alex like a bug. ‘’No!’ ’Majo screamed out aloud as more Martians approached her. A Martian immediately fired a stun wave from his gun at her and Majo fainted.

Majo awoke on the Martian’s spaceship in her sparkly holographic blue bikini. She was carrying her chihuahua in an egg-shaped cage. Majo was in a panic as looking out from the cage and saw a group of Martians dismembering a male body. ‘’Oh My God’’, Majo said as she turned her eyes away. She had little time to process the sacrifice Alex made for her and now the Martians are performing atrocious acts on another man. Majo became overwhelmed with dread. She sensed that she and the Chihuahua were in danger from the Martians. There would be no one here to save her or sacrifice themselves for her as Alex did. The Martian, who Majo assumed was the leader, focused his attention on her. Majo cried as she knew her life would drastically change.

Two Martians approached the cage that contained Majo and her pet, and by pressing some buttons, a substance spread inside the cage, causing them both to fall into a deep sleep. Majo awoke later in an operating room and was strapped to a table. A group of Martians were here and they had the Chihuahua on an operating table. Majo watched as the Martians pulled out drills and beheaded the poor Chihuahua. ‘’Oh God!’ Majo screamed. Please don’t let that happen to me, she thought.

Majo watched as the Martians grabbed the Chihuahua’s head and put it in a jar. Another group of Martians began to approach the table Majo was on. Am I going to be sedated?, Majo thought as she was taken to the same operating table. ‘’Stop!’’ She shouted at them to no avail as they strapped her to the table. The Martians connected several tubes to her body and prepared a tray full of short sharp tools which included scalpels, knives, and finally a round electric blade with seven sharp edges. One Martian picked up the blade and pointed at her neck. The rest of the Martians began to work on her neck using scalpels and knives. For what seemed like an eternity but was only two hours, Majo had to endure extreme pain while the decapitation occurred. She screamed out loud as the Martians pushed the electric edges into her neck and pleaded for mercy. The Martians ignored these pleas. Majo endured the decapitation and the noise from the blade eventually stopped. She just stared across the operating room and accepted what had happened to her. Alex did not die in vain for me and someone will save me, she thought.

A Martian picked up Majo's head by the hair when the decapitation was over. Majo saw her decapitated body shake. Majo tried to make sense of this situation but she was distracted by the sound of something dripping as the Martian held her. Oh God, please don’t that be what I think it is, she thought. Before she could confirm what she thought was dripping, Majo’s head was placed in a jar with liquid in it to keep her alive, as had happened with the Chihuahua previously. The Martian grabbed the jar and began approaching the table. Majo saw her body and a group of Martians operating on it. The Martian turned the jar around and Majo screamed loudly but only bubbles came out of her mouth. The Chihuahua's head was now attached to her body. Oh, God, Majo thought as she saw the staples in the body’s neck and the blood around them. She was enraged. Her gorgeous body was no longer hers. It was an object for Martians to experiment on. She fainted as she would have a similar fate as the Chihuahua's head.

A day later
Bright lights awakened Majo. She could not get up in the Chihuahua body that she was now attached to. She heard messages being announced in different languages. Majo was overwhelmed with acclimating to her new body so she was not fully listening to the messages. The Martians didn’t even take off her lipstick or earrings. She had the urge to scratch herself by the ears but could not get up to. Majo also could not fully tolerate the pain she was feeling from the staples attaching her neck to the Chihuahua's body. Another announcement interrupted her and she was ordered to rise. I hope that I’m on Earth, she thought as tried to get up and walk in her new body.
