Very very very good work on the lighting! It's perfect! You barely notice that the background is a photo. Remarkable.

Wheee! Another one Dude, I absolutely love this...what a scene Kiya looks so determined yet lost in thought as she looks out at the beautiful sunset disappearing in the horizon, right before she breaks free from her stone sleep and comes alive. I'm sure you'd want to keep your mad-skills a secret, but whatever technique you used is just amazing. The blending is just very well done and the colors go so well together. I mean, Kiya actually looks like she was part of the original photo That pic you found is really pretty, btw!

The personal details you added were a very nice touch; like the Eye of Horus tattoo on her shoulder (very awesome). Is that part of sleeve on her raised arm? I can just imagine the outfit she has on Everything about her is just beautifully-done (her expression, her long hair, the clothing, her wings, the pose). What I really like is the sunset's glow kissing her form and everything about her. I know you were just experimenting with PS, but this picture means a lot to me. Thanks again for choosing Kiya as your guinea pig once again I'm very flattered!

Very good shading there. I didn't realize the background was a photo at first. Both part blend together quite well.

I´m not sure of your norms but I´d call the experiment a success! I´ve spent some moments studying your picture and found nothing to object against it. Even your drawn front and photographybackground play nicely together. Very well done here!

I've commented on this on SA but I will comment again I LOVE the colourig work on this the warm tones are just so suited to the character and the shading is so bold and dynamic as well and lovely work on her stance and expression n_n her face looks so determined and powerful and her anatomy is really well drawn n_n Awesome piccy!!!
