Description
Graphite with gold pen and pastel on paper, by Dominica Polley. I was inspired by the nouveau gold leaf pattern borders to use as the backdrop to a graphite portrait. The portrait style follows from my Starflower Girl series which I add to periodically. This one started a set of bordered portraits itself, mostly with crowns and borders in various colours.
