Description
Model: MeWhen it officially became winter in Sydney, Icy-E [link] and I did a photoshoot in an alleyway in our neighbourhood.
I would like to thank socially withdrawn trenchcoat-sporting characters who helped inspire the look of this shoot, including: Neo from the Matrix, Selene from Underworld, John Constantine from Hellblazer, Tatsumi Saiga from Speed Grapher, Rorschach from Watchmen, Gambit from X-Men, Hellboy, The Punisher ...the list goes on.

Such emotion and such a good list of inspiration

The emotion in this photograph conspires a lot of feelings. Angst, contemplation, sorrow, regret, and strength all seem to appear in both the posture as well as the shadowed expression. I've been staring at this, trying to put into words what I feel, but I'm coming up blank. Marvelous shot, and one of my favorites.
