And, I know it's kinda off-topic and such, but did you create that background (the wall) with photomanipulation, or was that really what it looked like? It's really cool looking. In the event that it was a real wall, how did you get that texturing/look?

Uhh.. I just layered textures and a picture of a wall behind the girl. Over the picture of the wall, I used a texture of paper, one of a leaf and one clouds. Simple enough. Just lots of layering. (:

great work, really, nice concept and stunning realisation. just a little detail: i think you forgot to do the shadow of the right arm, on the point under the hand. i think that if you'll add a light and smooth shadow you'll give more deepness at the image. and than the hairs but i read that you already knew the detail!
