Yeah so my OC i draw all the time used to be a self insert before i decided to just completely stop having her just be me and let her be her own character (but also because i needed a generic base character to practice my style). On the left is her original design. As a kid i had never even heard of the flash so honestly it’s pretty funny i made my super-hero character who runs fast have a lightning bolt for a logo. Her super hero name is rapidos (i didn’t even know at the time it was a real word too!) and that design i came up with when i was maybe 5 or 6. I made a few 1 page comics where she’d fight against generic bad guys like mad scientists which i sold to my mom for quarters. Then when i turned 8, i made the design on the left. It’s supposed to be a more advanced version of the suit that’s more like an armor as opposed to just regular clothes and a backpack that gives her speed powers. By that point i had become aware of shadow the hedgehog so her shoes spewed out flames to make her go faster. This design i went on to use for a long while, well into my early teen years. I did make another design, but that one is a bit too similar to super mecha sonic and honestly it only had one or two appearances in the comics i made. When i did eventually make more rapidos comics in my later years of highschool, i went back to the original design and portrayed the character much more as a young super-hero still learning the ropes, treating it as her job and just kinda hanging around in a city with not much crime to speak of. I made that as a sort of retelling of her origin to tie it into my multiple « mega war » comics me and my friends made, which were massive crossover events with multiversal consequences. To make a long story not so short:

rapidos has a few years of experience dealing with mad scientist and the like. Then one day a robotics expert seeking revenge against her makes a copy called mecha-rapidos. This forces rapidos to make the second suit to manage to beat it. She keeps the remains in her garage for the following years. (Oh boy the crossovers start now) she gets a night job at freddy fazbear’s pizzeria which ends up with her blowing up the place. Though she gets the idea of making a back up robot body from this and uses parts from mecha-rapidos to do so. Unfortunately this brings the robot back and she has to make another stronger armor to fight it again. It wants to intergrate her into itself to become a complete being. She beats it and finally builds the spare body. Then in mega war, me and my real life friends had to face off against armies of nazi zombies, foxy’s space armada and the anti spiral. We win, but the damage has to be undone so we used the google chrome bomb (a bomb in the shape of the google chrome logo with the power to reset the universe, though can create parallel realities. It was made by an ancient civilization to prevent the death of the universe) to reset the events. This means that the new timeline is one where rapidos already entered her robot body and commands a giant space battleship with quadruple drilled boosters and a front that’s just a giant spike creatively named « the peak of death », my friend starts a panda themed space military group that allies itself with a gingerbread man army and an entire soviet inspired country populated by chibi anime girls lead by a normal anime girl with pink hair and a hat with a pentagram on it named « the commander » is created. When it was attacked by the combined forces of the bogdanof and chris chan, all the allies had to fight back against chris chan who wanted to merge all dimensions. This plan succeeded, which forces the commander to reunite everyone so they can cross into the polyverse (an abstract geometrical universe) to fight chris in yet another gurren lagann inspired fight. As the book ends, the characters are all glad the predicted apocalypse of 2048 was avoided (one in which everything is just a white void except for my arcade that’s just flynn’s from tron but with my name on it being left), they get to finally rest as the dimensions and timelines are fixed.
