This week's magic task was another week of frustration for Simon. His glands would glow bright red, but matter how hard he squeezed chocolate in his paws, he couldn't get it melt any faster than it did on its own. So far the only thing he did successfully was get his hands and the table all dirty. In the end, after seeing one of his classmates getting a burn from hot chocolate , Simon decided he's had enough of melting stuff for now. So, he suggested Flare to take a break and munch on those delicious luster fruits the class was given along with other fruits by generous teachers. After all, that was the most enjoyable part of the task.

the luster fruits were the most enjoyable thing to draw tbh
also what simon's doing is, apparently, unconsciously heating up the bowl. though he's not very successful with that haha
