Description
HYPNOWL is Edward's transformation of an Owlman Cryptid formerly from planet Earth and now the newly baptized planetoid of Anur Aviaris. Heavily inspired on the illustration of Owlman made by venjix5.

Origins: The name Hypnowl comes from the mixing of hypnosis and owl, the first making reference to his powers and the other to his physiology.

Appearance: Hypnowl is a humanoid, owl-like creature. Its face is seemingly permanently drawn into a sneer/jack-o-lantern-esque grin. Its eyes and mouth both emanate a faint green glow. It is feathered, even though it doesn't seem to be due to his completely black texture and his wings are tipped with razor-sharp claws. He has some green bands in both his wrists and ankles. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.

Powers:
- Enhanced Physiology: Hypnowl possesses great strength, durability, speed, dexterity and stamina.
- Flight: Hypnowl can fly and maneuver at high speeds.
- Sharp Claws: Hypnowl's sharp claws can cut through steel with ease.
- Hypnotic Powers: Hypnowl has the ability to hypnotize humans and animals into doing its bidding. Not only that, but its human "thralls" can also hypnotize other humans. This can quickly result in an entire town or city being brought under Hypnowl's influence.

Weaknesses:
- Light Sensitivity: Hypnowl has an extreme sensitivity to light. The flash of a camera is enough to stun him and fire is enough to kill him. If he ever went out into direct sunlight, it would surely die in an instant.
- Limited Intelligence: When transformed in Hypnowl, Edward loses his capability to speak and his instincts can cloud his judgement sometimes.

Commentary: Edward got this transformation when on a mission with the Secret Saturdays on Southern England when they revisited the nest of the deceased Owlman in search for more clues about Kur to help Zack have better understanding of his powers. While on the nest, they accidentally discovered an incredibly big system of caverns underneath it, which to their surprise, housed more members of the Owlman's species who didn't hesitate to attack them. During the attack, one Owlman slashed the Prototrix, which absorbed it's DNA. After defeating them they debated on what to do with them, since they were a risk to both humanity and themselves, so Edward suggested relocate them in a planetoid on the edge of the Anur System, which had an appropriate ecosystem for them. The Saturdays reluctantly agreed and Edward transformed into Warp to transport them all to said place. Edward then had to explain to the plumbers why a seemingly inhabited planetoid suddenly had a whole semi-intelligent species on it, but after arguing that they were so apart from the other planets in the Anur System that, unless anyone came there for some reason, the Owlmen wouldn't be able to trouble anyone, the representatives of the Anur System had no problem with it and named the planetoid as Anur Aviaris. Fun Fact: Anur Aviaris is to the Anur System what Pluto is for our own Solar System.

I wanted to upload my updated take on the design of this transformation, which, I'll admit, it doesn't change that much from the original, but I honestly think the outfit looks better now. What a better way to upload this transformation that is officially part of the Anur System Playlist (www.deviantart.com/doomstroyer… ) than do it on Halloween! Happy Halloween everyone!
