Description POLTERHEIST is Edward's transformation of a Ghost from the Ghost Zone.

Origins: The name Polterheist comes from the words poltergeist and heist. Edward called him like that since he had to steal one of the shards of the sword of Ascalon that ended up in the castle of Pariah Dark, saying he had to put a "ghost-heist" to retrieve it without being caught, and making reference to the ability of ghosts to disappear.

DNA Source: Vortex.

Appearance: Polterheist looks pretty similar to Vortex, but with a different design of armor that is also green, white and black instead of pure black. Additionally, he does not present the constant whirlwind on his "tail" like Vortex does. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his chest.

Powers:
- Enhanced Physiology: Polterheist possesses great strength, durability, speed and dexterity.
- Intangibility: Polterheist can turn his body intangible to pass through walls or other solid objects.
- Invisibility: Polterheist can make his body invisible to both humans and ghosts.
- Flight: Polterheist is capable of repelling against gravity, so he can fly through air and space at considerable speeds and heights, as well as walk along vertical surfaces.
- Ecto-Energy Manipulation: Polterheist can control his Ecto-energy to fire blasts of Ecto-energy from his hands, fingertips, and eyes which often explode on contact and are powerful enough to melt steel, send out a pulse of energy in all directions from his body to repel large groups of attackers, increase his body's physical strength, create constructs made out of solid Ecto-energy in a variety of forms such as shields that can nullify or even reflect attacks, send Ecto-energy as electricity through an electric current, negating his enemies' electric attacks and sending them back at the attacker and project light from his hands.
- Possession/Exorcism: Polterheist can possess the mind and body of a person, ghost, or animal, allowing him to completely control their actions. While overshadowing, Polterheist can still use his powers of flight, intangibility, invisibility, and ghost rays. He also can separate a possessed person from a ghost overshadowing them simply by grabbing them with their hand or using a ghost ray.
- Elasticity and Body Contortion: He can bend, twist, and otherwise contort his body beyond normal standards.
- Regeneration: Polterheist is able to heal his wounds at incredible speeds.
- Vacuum Resistance: Polterheist can survive in space.
- Weather Manipulation: Polterheist is able to generate and manipulate any type of normal weather, be it maelstroms, droughts, rainstorms, etc. He can control the weather on a global level. He can sense and influence weather patterns, creating effects such as rain, snow, wind, hail, lightning, fog, and temperature changes. This includes the ability to attack using elements such as air, lightning, ice, and heat.
- Ghost Zone Portals: Polterheist can access and leave the Ghost Zone at will by creating portals.
- Ghostly Wail: Polterheist can generate an extremely powerful sonic blast of pure Ecto-energy, that can destroy buildings and cause severe damage to both humans and other ghosts, accompanied by a distinct ghostly moaning sound. It can destroy ghost who are too weak to withstand it and negate their accelerated healing factor.
- Duplication: Polterheist is one of the few ghost who can easily duplicate himself. Grant each duplicate an specific ability and re-absorb his duplicates when they are not needed.

Weaknesses:
- Ecto-energy: Just as he can affect other ghosts with his powers, the other ghosts can hurt him as well.
- Gravity Imposing: Even though his abilities normally allow Polterheist to negate the effects of gravity in his body, beings capable of manipulating it can impose it to him and even nullify his phasing abilities.
- Being Overpowered: Even with all his abilities, Polterheist is way far beyond being invencible, and it can be overpowered and destroyed.
- Power Draining: Some of his powers like the Ghostly Wail drain a lot of his energy and leave him tired. His energy can also be drained by certain beings.
- Cancelled Intangibility: Polterheist can't phase through objects or beings that are also intangible, interacting with them as if they were solid objects.
- Limited Ghost Zone Portals: He can only travel through the Ghost Zone and the dimension he is currently in and can't travel through time using the Ghost Zone.
- Ecto-ranium: Polterheist can't make this anti-ghost mineral intangible and is incapable to phase through it if he is already touching it. It also causes him a lot of pain if he tries to touch it while not being intangible himself.
- Blood Blossoms: These are flowers with powerful anti-supernatural properties and the red aura they release causes any ghost near extreme pain.
- Limited Interaction in the Ghost Zone: Polterheist, like any other ghost, cannot interact with real-world objects like normal humans while inside the Ghost Zone.
- Fenton Technology: Fenton Technology is specifically designed to counter ghosts, so it also affects Polterheist.

Commentary: In the 5YL continuity they made Ecto-energy to have unlimited potential, and even to not be compatible with the Omnitrix, but that's only because it was one of the only ways to make ghosts relevant in the scale of power and that the incorporation of Danny and Vlad wouldn't be redundant, which wouldn't be good since it's a crossover focused mainly in those two franchises. But here I try to stick to the power-scaling and will not give power boosts unless it's completely necessary. I think that a Ghost transformation is completely possible since the concept of Ecto-energy is not very different to Mana, however, it depends on the type of ghost. For example, The Prototrix CAN'T transform the user into an specific ghost who was once a dead person like Sidney Pointdexter or the Lunch Lady Ghost since they are souls enveloped in Ecto-energy, but it CAN scan their Ecto-energy and could potentially transform the user into specific ghosts who are PURE ectoplasmic beings like Frostbite or the Fright Knight. Polterheist has the ability to create portals to the Ghost Zone since he scanned Vortex after this one had been granted Wulf's powers by an overpowered version of Fright Knight who called himself Emperor Fright Knight, who not only destroyed Wulf and gave his abilities to Vortex but also removed his weakness to sunlight, which is why Polterheist isn't affected by it as well.

This is a redesign of my old Polterheist transformation.
