RAT NAP is Edward's transformation of an Erirattus from Planet Raceinae.

Origins: The name Rat Nap comes from his rat-like appearance and his sleeping quills. Is also a reference to Rat Trap from Transformers Beast Wars.

DNA Source: The DNA source of this transformation is unknown.

Appearance: He resembles a humanoid rat mixed with a porcupine. He has black quills for his hair with the rest of his quills on his body being gray. He wears a white and green shirt with pants that resembles those of Argit. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his belly.

Powers:
- Sleeping Quills: Rat Nap can fire quills tipped with a toxin that induces sleep from nearly any part of his body. They can also paralyze an opponent.
- Heartbeat Reduction: Rat Nap is able to slow down his heartbeat and other biological functions to the rate of his pulse shutting off yet allowing himself to survive. Using this, Rat Nap is able to play dead extremely convincingly.
- Enhanced Agility: Rat Nap is capable of jumping and running at levels that far surpass a human.
- Strong Tail: Rat Nap can use his long tail for combat.

Weaknesses:
- Sleeping Quills: Rat Nap can be affected by his own toxin. In addition, if he fires all of his quills, he is left defenseless.

Commentary: The Erirattus are known for being an untrustworthy, filthy and vulgar species, which is why most of them are banned from the biggest businesses on the galaxy, but that hasn't stopped them from being well known smugglers on the galactic black market. Fun Fact: Rat Nap is one of Edward's least favorite transformations because he dislikes Argit.
