Honestly- as much as I wish with every part of my being that Renamon could be real, at the same time... I hope she always remains behind the screen as the world we live in is cruel and filled with bad people, ones that would use and abuse her, or do endless tests to see what makes her 'Tick' being a non-human creature.
In our world, she would be nothing but a target by the masses but behind the glass, she is at-least safe from reality. I love Remamon so much like anyone else, but with a mutual respect and adoration, not lust and sin.

Though in saying that, you gotta give her space to breath and learn the world too... though armed or not, you couldn't stop the government and such forces taking her away sadly. As they no-doubt would.

You are right, that is very like to happen and more. However, life is cruel, no matter where or what it's in; there's always going to fighting, ridicule, and violent death everywhere, no matter what it is... even plants kind-of do this.
If you ask me, there are problems for everything, but one must prepare for them and try to solve them ultimately. In my eyes, if one allows the problems to cloud progress, they're the fools in the equations.

it's not the words that would hurt Renamon the most if made real... but the world itself. I wrote a little bit on this that I'll most likely add to and expand with time but it makes good points:

I have had such feelings for so many years and they kinda subsided a while ago but after playing the game Amorous, I met a character called Skye who is basically a Renamon who dyes her fur (Naturally white) and in this game, you can go on dates with her, bond, protect and ultimately make love to her by the end of things... I only played Amorous because friends told me of it and I was keen to see lewd things or such but I wasn't expecting such feels. But we digress from the topic at hand.
