Gate in Chongsheng Monastery - Dali, Yunnan province, ChinaChongsheng Monastery is by far the most well-known and magnificent Buddhist shrine in this part of Southeast Asia. Originally, the Chongsheng Monastery was built in 10th century to be near the Dali Three Pagodas, so people call them "Chongsheng Monastery & Three Pagodas". The Monastery & Pagodas are located 1 km north of town Dali.
