Description
Snailfishes are a taxon closely related to the stegocaudates. Its digestive zooid is characterized by having a coiled habitability chamber. The branchial zooid has completely lost its shell and is fused to the caudal zooid.The genus of the image is called Conwaymorrisia and measures 3 cm in length. It can be found in estuarine environments or even in the lower courses of rivers, trapping small organisms near the surface, thanks to its oral tentacles.
