Assassins would either be red (Control) or green (Malware/Virus). Most likely green.
An ISO could be an Assassin (There's that TRON 1.5 movie we need to explain TRON: Legacy). The ISO Assassin killed a few of the wrong programs that just set CLU off. Not only did the ISOs run counter to what CLU though would make for a perfect system, but the Assassins made it impossible of CLU to weed out the Assassins. Thus, Mass-extermination was the only workable option.
TRON tried to stop CLU but CLU just put TRON under heel and made the once legendary defender of the system his pet killer.
