I think your artwork is always amazing! I love this piece because I love how you drew Nightwing. He's actually getting me to read me to read my first DC comic! But although people find this controversial, I like that you can look at it both ways and interpret it whatever way you see fit. You could see "something more" in the picture, or you could treat this as a rescue picture with Nightwing being vulnerable because of his physical state. Someone who got the beating of their life and is losing blood isn't going to be doing heroic poses and whatnot. Gotta look out for your friends and "family."

This could be taken a number of ways
its in the eye of the beholder.
Dick is a very emotion run induvidual therefore I could see him in such a position after a hard fight. If its gay/brotherly/fatherly...what does it matter. Deviantart is for freedom of expression if you don't like it don't look. The comment box is to comment on the art not how much you disagree with its message. If everyone believed or acted like everyone else this would be a boring world..and an ignorant one at that.
As for the art I love the technique only thing that I could point out is the cut on the leg looks wonky..a little more blood would make it look more realistic but as it is now its fine.
