He wasn't very nice in the comics, but then the movie came along and made me feel empathy for him... This is really nice!

His character turned out so much more dimensional than Thor did in the movie. He's the most dangerous kind of villain, the one we sympathize with. The butterfly is a nice contrast - innocence lost.

Awww I Love Loki. .. I have since I was little. Norse Mythology is in My blood so I adore the real God I like how the movie got closer to the real Loki instead of that black and white model of the comics.

I don't think of him as a villain much at all <3 <3 such a wonderful picture

The real Loki isn't really a villian. He's more of a neutral, prankster type (Think Coyote from Native American mythology or even Hermes from Greek mythology). He's one of my favorite gods, and Marvel didn't make him such...but they did help bring him back into 'existance' so-to-say.

And then Oden is like 'Loki, no =_=' when they're both dangling for their life. What a douche! Of course Loki'd be really sad.

He was arranging for Thor's banishment for the good of Asgard, since his brother was being a royal douche.
At the time of Loki meeting Thor in the holding room or whatever, Thor was still a douche.
Loki didn't expect Thor to be so accepting of his punishment, hence the weird look that was given before he shadowed out.

There's a lot of things in the movie that showed Loki wasn't evil.
