Not trying to start a debate about anything here.. XDI just remembered that Starfire's outfit and her remarks made controversy few months ago and somehow ended up with this very weird picture.
Thanks for the suggestion now I bought the comics and got to like the three characters :3

He does. Red Hood's real name is Jason Todd. He was the second person to become Robin. He was beaten to death by Joker, and took to a life of crime after he was revived by the Lazarus Pit.

Yea i know all of that I'm a huge red hood fan I'm just curious as to why he has a red batman symbol on his chest if he's no longer affiliated with bruce and has moved on.

Marketing. they sell things easier when they are tied to Batman, even though in this new comic he says "Gotham sucks" and gave up his happiest memory of Bruce caring for him when he was robin and had the flu.

Yeah, DC's response to any of those who took issue with how they portray their characters.... it's for teens and up! Well as and adult, definitely older than a teen, I was still displeased. The old DCU had problems, but there were still moments with heart... there's far less of that in the DCNU.... the characters are so disconnected and jerky now

I read up to issue 3 of Redhood but then dropped it. Read 1 and 2 of Wonderwoman then dropped it (I didn't like the retcon of Zeus being her dad). I read Justice League 1-3 but don't know if I'll continue because they bicker like children. Read Nightwing but will probably drop that soon too since they seem set on making Dick darker and more angsty. Catwoman the same... she was already dark and sexy but they've pushed it a little too much.
Aquaman #1 was good but 2 and 3 stretched the plot too thin. Supergirl is ok but I think it's silly how many times they've restarted her character and made her new-to-earth.
The only ones I've really liked so far is Batman (by Snyder), Batwoman, Batman & Robin, and Static Shock.

Did you try Action Comics, Justice League Dark, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E., Resurrection Man, Demon Knights, or All-Star Western?
From those you named I'm enjoying Red Hood, Wonder Woman (don't mind the retcon, since the circumstances of her birth weren't previously too important to begin with), Aquaman, Batman, Batwoman, Batman & Robin, and Static Shock

No, haven't tried the others. The art on AnimalMan gives me nightmares... those dissected floating body parts and undead animals, eep! It's fine for those who can handle it, but I can't.
As for the more fantasy-related things... I prefer the fantasy comics of other companies. I've never been into westerns. I go to DC for superheroes and Batman things.

Ah OK. Well I do like horror and fantasy, just not from DC. *shrug*. Like... I like vampire manga like "Hellsing" and I like smaller publisher's fantasy comics (Like Aspen's "Soulfire", or Crossgen's "Meridan") . But if you do like DC's fantasy/horror, that's cool, the "dark" line seems to be selling well and getting good reviews

Red Hood (Jason Todd) is easily climbing my ranks in my "Bat-family" favorites. He's only behind my number 1 = Red Robin (Tim Drake) and my number 2 = Night Wing (Dick Grayson). Love these books and how Starfire is like a little sex addict with no real emotions towards these two is awesome.
Great Piece, but wouldn't mind seeing each one of these characters in there own piece showing their separate personalities! Anyway awesome piece and Fav +1

I can take her costume it can be changed. What I cant stand is how she acts now, at least to me she comes off as a "I'm going to sleep with every guy" skank. costumes can change personality changes sadly cannot. And whatβs worse is changing them back is hard to do without jarring the reader.
Just me free analysis, you get exactly what you pay for. Awesome pic though definitely gonna fav.

I can understand the attachment a person can have toward a character (and by that I mean nothing more than "this is my favorite character"), but at the end of the day, the character you grew to love is still in the books you've read that lead to said love in the first place. Just sayin'.

From what little I've gathered, Teen Titans the TV show made her kid friendly and that she was always pretty much a slut from space.
No idea if it's true but it doesn't seem too surprising seeing how even in Teen Titans she had a skimpy outfit.
