request from Ezio free-running.No he cannot run on a wall like this in the game XD but I would like to see him do that
and excuse the background again

actually, you can do this on a wall, just not run. i think you can do this if you jump off a wall at an angle.

They're either avoiding it because Assassins Creed is 'realistic', or they don't want to lump it in with Prince of Persia. The new Prince of Persia pulled off wall running with the Assassins Creed engine so it's definitely not a technical restriction. I would like to see AC get a bit more POP like with the platforming. I really enjoyed the tomb bits in AC2, they felt almost like a proper next gen POP but not quite. The free running made the tighter platforming a wee bit awkward, I kept falling off stuff by accident because I prefer running over walking. I hope POP Forgotten Sands is good, it has me intrigued. I'll just die if it is as shoddy as the last one.

It's a good play. You should give POP a try. There's nothing better than running along walls and being badass. Altair and Ezio just leisurely climb along rooftops, The Prince has some hard core platforming.

He he he running up a wall is one thing, running horizontally across it is altogether different. As it is you can run up a wall in AC to grab a ledge. Maybe they'll give in and give us some awesome wall running abilities in the next one. It would be nice.

Yeah the assassin should be able to wall run. How cool would it be to run along a wall, then leap from it and dig your hidden blades into a couple dudes necks. Sure leaping off a building from above a dude to stab him is fun, but I like getting a run up into it. You know what would be awesomely stupid, if the next assassin had hidden blades on his feet as well. BloodRayne pulls it off, and Bayonetta has guns on all limbs. I think it could seriously work. lol. You could kill 4 people at once. Awesome. I can't wait for AC3. I'm sure it will blow my mind yet again.

when I began sketching it randomly I was drawing him hanging down from a poll, swinging himself and ready to jump off, but the composition was boring so from that sketch I made corrections and came up with the pose. probably 20minutes or so.
