ah, i'm really sorry to be nitpicky, but although the costume matches altair's basic outfit, the scar on the side of the mouth is ezio's, from assassin's creed 2.
it is a beautiful piece of art though, don't get me wrong, and i love it.

Actually, Altair, Ezio and Desmond all have the scar on the side of their mouth. This is either a genetic trait, coincidence, or since Desmond is in the Anima replaying his ancestors as a generated avatar, his appearance has been mixed in with his ancestors' physical make up.

The idea is wondeful and as allways great done by you! Peacefull on the one hand, but with the bloody reality in several parts of the picture.
It shows a Cut inside the character through the outside things that happen.
The innocent boy...his Altairs innocent smile and on the other the bloody knife and the searching soldiers in the backround.
Really well done.
