What if Twilight never made friends? What if the Elements of Harmony would have been destroyed forever?
What if Celestia had been forced to handle all the problems herself? How would the story go then?
Here's a new comic series from Mr-Spider-The-Bug and doubleWbrothers where we will get all the answers to the question: "What if Celestia..."
Drawn and mostly written by Mr-Spider-The-Bug (You can check his other comics)

I'm curious where this story will go. As I see it, Celestia becoming more proactive means that Twilight will never rise up to being an alicorn, or even a hero. Therefore, when the next big crisis comes around, Celestia won't be able to handle it on her own and Equestria will fall. That's kind of the only rout I can see for this series.

I kinda agree in the show Celestia disappeared a few times leaving Twilight and her friends to save Equestria. If Twilight never went out to make friends leaving Celestia to do everything Equestria is surely doomed.

What just happened? Did they kill each other? Damn, what a grim "what if" situation indeed.
I know a few people have already said this, but Celestia didn't hide, she was sealed in the sun. Now, I'm not sure how Nightmare Moon was able to seal her, but Faust said she did, so it's absolutely canon and the show has never retconned it. Maybe NMM somehow grew stronger during her thousand years in the moon because she was so full of hate, or then Celestia didn't even try to fight her because she knew only the Elements could bring Luna back and that she would only cause unnecessary destruction if she battled NMM in Ponyville. She believed in Twilight, and it paid off.
All that said, this is still very interesting and I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm especially curious to see how will Celestia defeat Discord without the Elements. Chrysalis, Sombra, Tirek and all the other villains are more or less beatable if they don't get to gather too much power, but Discord is the single most powerful creature in the MLP FIM universe.

I know I have already said this, but I will always repeat it. I consider only official episodes as a canon! Other official books, comics, movies, special episodes, alternative universes series, toy descriptions, official games, author's tweets, etc. I do not consider as a canon! If you will consider author's tweets as a canon, then you should count everything else. And if you do this, then you will have a complete non-logical mess, and you'll have the same thing going that with Harry Potter happen right now. Disgusting!
I think Lauren Faust wrote this tweet only because people asked her about it literally a million times. So they left her alone. If Lauren want me to consider it as a canon, then she needs to do another episode about it. Otherwise, I am going along the most logical path.

I understand choosing not to believe everything else, but I definitely consider the author's word as canon, especially since the show never contradicted it. The show retconned quite a few things in the last few seasons, but not that particular piece of trivia.

Hmm... Interesting, I suppose in your logic, if I write here that my character in my comic book actually eats little babies. Then it somehow turns into a canon? since I am the author and I said that? I do not think so. In any story provided no matter what her original script was or what the author’s notes were written in the corner of the page. The canons should be considered ONLY 100 times re-read, 100 times redone, 100 times re-checked THE FINAL product! If the author decided to cut some important fact or event from story because of some reason, оr because his mistakes. Then it's DONE, it's no longer exists! You can’t fix it later by just posting a 10 second tweet. It doesn’t work like that!
And I brought Harry Potter as an example, simply because it’s a similar familiar situation. New Harry Potter movies are bad not because Dumbledore being gay, they're just bad in general, and if Dumbledore wasn't gay it would not change anything.

OK, fine. Just don't forget that the next time you going to watch a movie, and this movie will be stupid and illogical. It's not a movie fault, It's your fault! Because you didn't watch blu-ray version with the author's comments on, didn't watch all authors interviews, didn't read extra comics stuff, didn't read the old version of the script, and of course, did not read all author tweets, to understand his deep ngenious plot.
I guess, this is the way how you should watch all new Star Wars movies, so they would be good.
