The lack of visible eyes combined with the pits in the face is a nice touch that makes one wonder how it perceives the world. Smell? Are those pits heat sensors, as found on some snakes? Ear holes for echolocation? It lets the viewer wonder.
Actually... Hm... Dragon like but vaguely humanoid body, wings, mouth tentacles... You know, if this thing had more of a belly, it would fit the description of Cthulhu.
