Description "Introducing American Obsession, a new pop-punk band founded by Laird and Crypt. Jack joined later into the band's unravelling, creating the trio we now know and love. With such hits such as Mean Kids, Voodoo, I'm Weird, Hocus Pocus, and their debut single Internet Pirates, the band plays heavily into occult and witch themes, and main songwriter Crypt tries to include mentions to struggles he faced as a kid, quote: "Yeah man, growing up mixed it's... f*cking weird, y'know? Especially since my parents are like- so different, it's not like they're a goat and a sheep, right? And Laird, well he was a real Rich Kid growin' up and all, politics and purebred and all that, and I mean, Jack is a freaking legendary! I've only heard of people like him in like, stories. So I just try to incorporate all of our experiences into one song. And that's what makes American Obsession so like... weird. We're just so different and at the end of the day, everyone is different, and we just try to get everyone like, together. That's the point of the band." The band is debuting a new album later this year, and we can't wait to see what else they have to offer the punk genre."

Basically a teaser of an upcoming webcomic :> In order L to R: Jack (Jackalope), Laird (Canadian Lynx), and Crypt (Bat-Moth Hybrid). All the songs mentioned in the fake article excerpt are by a real band called Ghost Town who I love dearly, and are the main inspiration for American Obsession- their songs will be Ghost Town songs, lol. Yes I'm v excited for this aaaaa
