Description  Here you can see a Photoshop painting of a post office with Hellenistic architecture. My main reference and inspiration was the Macedonian tomb at Phinikas (Thessaloniki, Greece). It is the first fruit of a thought of mine—to design public-use buildings that embody timeless neoclassical or neohellenistic (yes, I just coined that term!) beauty and pay homage to the past. Keep reading to learn some interesting facts about my aesthetic choices with this piece.

Let's start from the top. The pinnacle of this structure is a symbolic tribute to a bygone era, a clay statue of a pigeon that clutches a letter in its beak. This element is meant to pay homage to an old method of communication, post pigeons. This detail serves as a homage to a time when messages traversed vast distances through the wings of these feathered messengers.

Lower, we encounter a portrait of Hermes, the messenger of the Greek Gods. Crafted from limestone and adorned with a white coat of paint, this depiction pays homage to Greece's inaugural stamp-as it is a faithful replication of the original illustration of it.
