Glad that you like it, Richard.
Actually, it's my very first attempt in street photography.

Interesting...I figured you'd have put your toes in those waters by now. Its a wonderful genre to embrace.
My advice: Shoot first, ask questions later

Actually, I never dared to shoot strangers. But I felt a bit more comfortable in a foreign city, where nobody knows me. I departed before they even realized that they had become my involuntary models!

He who shoots and runs away, lives to shoot another day
I know how you feel and think its common for most to feel that way in the beginning. In a sense it is intrusive. Knowing how we all love our privacy, its not surprising for us to want to respect that right for others. This holds many back from documenting the daily quirks that play out on the streets. To me life is a carnival and so we may as well hop on a ride or two and enjoy the show that people put on in public. We see it anyway with our minds-eye...no reason not to photograph it so that others can see and enjoy what we saw. Happy hunting to you

Exactly.
That's the point, I'm feeling as if I'm invading their privacy. Guess I need to hunt a bit more to become a bit more self-confident. Thanks for your wishes, Richard!
