So Mom came over while I was finalizing the first panel and asked me if that was the Polar Express—I said pretty much. XD

Might have based this off of a little train set I’ve had forever, but I also pulled up images of steam trains to get the little fiddly details. That in front is a cattle guard, by the way, and is for flipping obstacles out of the way (mostly bovines, as you may have guessed). Did have to consult references for the interior though, although I think these guys are riding a plushed-up subway car judging by how it’s all laid out. XD

And Weaton’s imagery in that last panel—that’s from the last panel of this deviation . It was the first thing I thought of after realizing what happened the last time Weaton went up a mountain.
