Brian had not recovered completely from the previous week. The scenes flashed before his eyes all day. On Monday night he found the courage to go to the gym. It was empty, no sign of Alice, or anyone else.
Brian: *I have to workout even more to catch up to her. I have to take what she is taking. I'll show her, I'll get big...* He angrily completed sets on the leg curl machine.
~~THUD THUD THUD (loud stepping noise)~~
Alice: "Oh hey there Brian, working out all alone I see..."
Brian: "HOLY-- Alice? Is that, is that you?!"
