Thanks. As for the marker tutorial, unfortunately I don't have links for any. A few quick tips I would give:

1. If you want to use markers to color black and white line work, make a photocopy of the original inks and color on that instead. That way the line work won't bleed, fade or muck up your colors - it will stay crisp and clean.

2. Use a paper with a slicker surface - maybe not high gloss, but something that will hold the ink on or close to the surface when it dries and not soak it up. This will extend the life of your markers by using less ink and it makes blending colors easier because running a fresh marker over the dry ink will partially bring that dry ink back to life. This allows the colors to be mixed and blended much easier.

3. Practice blending using a decent spectrum of Cool Grey. I would reccomend using 20% 40% 60%, and 80%. On scrap paper, practice creating a smooth even gradiation from dark to light by blending the grays together using overlapping strokes and mixing the different gray inks by working/mixing them on the page.. When you get the hang of blending the gray markers, you'll find it works pretty much the same with colors.

They don't blend/mix as fast and easy as paint, no matter what paper you're working on, but it should be easier with a smooth paper surface, like I said. The thickness of the paper has little to do with how well it works, what's more important is the smoothness/gloss of the surface. Normal sketch pad paper is very textured and makes markers nearly impossible to blend because it is very porous and soaks all the ink up, trapping it inside the paper.

One other thing to mess around with - just to get an understanding of marker's blending properties - is just to draw a line with a dark color and then use a lighter color marker to "pull" or "Push" the dark ink away from the line, blending it out. You can just toy around see how the ink on the page reacts to the fresh marker.

Also, light colored markers will pick up some of the darker ink and create a mix of the two colors on the tip, usually this blend of colors will clean-up and revert to the original color of the light marker after a few strokes, but you can use this to create new shades and tones of colors you might want/need.

Thanks, I guess that must be who gave them to me. My memory is a little fuzzy, as I was very young at the time, but it makes sense.

Sorry for the late reply... Does it really make any sense that eyeless, noseless, piecemeal, frankenstien's-monster-like zombie/mummy things are everywhere and yet someone's still looking for the realizm behind why they'd have stiches. Why? It makes sense if I want it too, because i want it too, cause I drew it and I drew it cause stitches are cool.
