Who of you doesn't know this game series? Luigi's Mansion.

Brief plot outline:
In three parts, Luigi must investigate either one or more mansions and possibly a hotel that is supposedly haunted. In the process, his friends (his brother Mario, Princess Peach, the Toads and a professor friend) are kidnapped by King Boo and put into paintings.

And so the poor guy (who also suffers from a terrible fear of ghosts, by the way) has to pack up his ghost vacuum cleaner and take a job as a ghost hunter.
