i actually invented him and had half his name AI generated. anyways, im too lazy to put all that ✨beautiful detail✨ into digital in fear of destroying the complexity of the design so here ya go. also i spent like 5 minutes on the cockpit view, im just not care about that stuff. anyways he has big halberd so ye. (oh boy here comes a paragraph of detail just about the sheath) so basically the sheath is hinged and kept closed by SUPER powerful electromagnets and relatively weak normal magnets, so if the electromagnets are deactivated the halberd wont fall out and requires a pulling force to exit the sheath. it also closes with very very fast motors to quickly sheath the halberd in the heat of battle. the electromagnets in the sheath deactivate when these two requirements are met: the pilots are thinking about taking out the halberd and the jeager’s arm is reaching behind to grab the halberd, so no oopsies will happen. it is a foolproof system. the electromagnets also directly hold the halberd in place so it doesnt just slide freely. ok so one last thing that may need a little explaining is the energy source, cyclops nomad is powered by lots of fusion reactors for maximum environmental compatibility, a few vents in cyclops are directly lead the the fusion reactors so bring in stuff to actually fuse and when underwater, a backup electrical power system is activated to increase energy efficiency underwater due to water not being a gas and thus, making it harder to fuse. if the battery runs low on power the fission reactor will activate as a last resort to increase the amount of available energy but also endangering the pilots a little. but usually the fission reactor is never needed, cyclops always kills the kaiju fast. anyways yeah thats it and oh my god that is a bit more than a paragraph.
