Another illustration for our Czech short-story book "The Shadows of Wings" written by many members of our ~Draci-info community. This picture illustrate poem by ~yeyra , story is about Dragoness who served people for a whole life. This is the last moment before her death and salvation.4B and 5B pencils

So many details. I love the scales, wings, shading, face and background. I like the design and posture. I would like to read the story of it so much. I hope her soul can find salvation in heaven.

I feel so sorry for her but in the end her soul will returnto the heavens.
I know what means for her to be a servant for man her whole life but I guess it was not her wish to do so, was it?
