Dragons are back again!!I can say that this is one of my best dragons pic, or at least this is probably the one I like most. I'ts curious because I started doing a furry dragon, but later I had to remove all the hair XDD. So furry dragons will have to wait.

Los dragones están aquí otra vez!!
La verdad es que podría decir que este es uno de los mejores dibujos de dragones que he hecho, o al menos, posiblemente el que más me gusta (opinión personal XD). Es curioso, me suele pasar casi siempre que empiezo el dibujo de una manera y lo acabo de otra completamente distinta. En un principio, este iba a ser un dragón peludo en la nieve, pero cuando empecé a colorear, me di cuenta de que el pelo no encajaba y lo dejé emm... calvo XD. Pero considero que así está mejor. Los dragones peludos tendrán que esperar un poco más.

These are like water dragons, but what numbers ^^
I really enjoy drawings of dragons and you are one of the people who have great talent in making them. Especially I like the way you make the head of the dragon, with horns and it is not so long with nice mimic muscles. Thank you for your dragon, your work is enjoyed by many ^^

I really love the attention you put into details, and try to make the dragons all different yet keeping what's specific to the specie. And the atmosphere of your paintings are so beautiful!

Thanks! Know something? at the beginning this was going to be a furry dragon (I think I still keep that version somewhere XD), but at the end, I took off the hair and added scales

Nope XDD The fur is in the .psd file, as a layer. I'd have to open the file, find the layer and save the pic again, and... once I've finished a pic, I never open the .psd file again, hahaha. It weighs a lot (around 200mb). And well, I don't feel like changing the dragon XD

Hm..weird o.o ..maybe I hate it so much cause everytime I try, I end up doing it wrong and I don't like the end result..cause you can't really use a reference for a dragon, I don't know how to do the details rightt XP ..but you're so good at it that you don't even need references..you just KNOW where to put all those details & how to make it look realistic o.o ..how did you learn thatt..?

How did I learn that? Drawing and drawing and drawing... my first dragons weren't that detailed, and once I learned how to do the shape, I started with the details. Look at this one I did some years ago: [link]
It's a matter of practice, trying new things and being drawing dragons for many years

Lol I know, that's what I do. But I mean it's still hard to get the details right..like how do you know where to put the shading for the muscles & the little wrinkles & stuff..? those are all details..

That's study. You have to "study" that, see a lot of references and study anatomy or whatever related to what you want to draw. In my case, I love animals and dinosaurs, and I pay special attention to the shape of their heads and jaws, also their anatomy, and I apply that knowledge to draw my dragons 
Oh well, I'm asking you that because you are supposed to be drawing something, isn't it? XD

Yeah, I figured you studied it..I was surprised you didn't say that when I first asked you o.o ..all you said was "practice". xD ..but yeah, I'll definitely start doing that thenn..though I think my next digital painting will be of as different animal, not a dragonn..

Don't get me wrong, I didn't studied at classes or something like that. When I say "study" I mean seeing the details on your own. You want to draw a dragon? take references of reptiles, dinosaurs or other dragon designs. Once you have made many dragons, all that knowledge is in your head so you don't have to use references. Anyway, I include this into the "practice", because it's something you do on your own, no one have taught me. Got it, little grasshopper?

Mmmm... nope, I ended up hating it XDD. My pc was really slow when I was working on it, so I couldn't be able to finish. Besides, I think I like more the 2D art than the 3D hehehehe.
