I've been playing with doing traditional character sprites in peyote stitch for beading. It's a pain due to the offset brick layout of peyote stitch, but it's my favorite technique.
I think I'm going to do another one of Link, and reverse the weave of the peyote stitch to see if it comes out a little better, but I wanted it to match up with the other patterns right now.

Most of my peyote stitch patterns are set up in such a way that you can join them together if you want a massive multi-character cuff or belt or whatever.
