Description
It's finally here! I finished it! My personal interpretations of (nearly every) human character from Bendy and the Ink Machine. Please note that this is not comprehensive, I have not yet drawn Alison Pendle, Jack Fain, or Shawn Flynn yet. This is primarily because I haven't yet thought of designs for them yet, and in Alison's case I'd like to hear a tape from her first, or just really any potential insight into her personality. Also, here are some bonus headcanons (starting from the top and going left to right):
Joey Drew:
- Joey is tall and very lanky, with not very much muscle mass.
- He's a silver-tongued business man as well. He can talk himself out of nearly any situation, and it was this silver tongue of his that convinced the local bank to give him a hefty loan needed to expand his studio, as well as convince Bertrum Piedmont to come to America and begin construction on Bendy Land.
- He keeps up a cheerful demeanor around his employees, but the cracks in his little facade do start to show over time. It's clear to his co-workers that he doesn't believe in his little "pencil and a dream" speech that he likes to talk about. He may have believed at one point, but the magic has most certainly faded for him.
Henry:
- Henry is quiet, soft spoken, and fairly introverted. He prefers to work on his drawings over socializing with large groups of people.
- He and Joey met when they were both young men. Joey had just put together his little studio and was looking for animators, and he happened to spot some of Henry's drawings in the comic section of the local newspaper, which prompted him to offer Henry a job.
- Henry also has selective mutism; he tends to go dead silent and be unable to speak whenever he is greatly stressed and/or anxious.
- He and Linda have three children. Their eldest child is a girl Carolyn, their middle child is a boy named Daniel, and their youngest is another girl named Rosie.
Sammy Lawrence:
- Sammy is tall as well, the only person in the studio to come close to Joey in terms of height, but he's got broader shoulders and a bit more muscle.
- His perpetual mood is a mix of tired and grumpy.
- His constantly furrowed brow paired with the bags under his eyes makes him appear older than he actually is.
- Sammy also thinks Susie is... pretty. But he is lowkey shy as fuck when it comes to women and has the social skills of a goat on fire, so he cannot for the life of him work up the courage to compliment her. That and he's seen the way she looks at Joey... Deep down he feels he'd never have a chance with her.
Susie Campbell:
- An adorable, charming ray of sunshine. Easily one of the sweetest workers at the studio.
- She was a little infatuated with Joey Drew when she was first hired and may have idolized him just a bit too much. This quickly changes once she realizes he's far more interested in business and wasn't intending for her to interpret his behavior as flirting.
Norman Polk:
- Quiet, likes to keep to himself and stay up in his booth with his projectors. It gives him plenty of time to himself, as well as overhear any passing conversations that happen to fall upon his ears.
- Nonetheless, he won't turn anyone away if they come up to his booth for a small conversation. He and Wally like to chat while Wally comes up to clean, and he keeps an extra set of keys on hand to open up the recording booth when Susie comes in to practice after hours.
Wally Franks:
- Wally is the youngest employee currently at the studio. He was fresh out of high school when Joey picked him up and offered him a janitorial position. Wally was flat broke at the time, so he gladly accepted.
- Is good friends with Shawn. The two of them bond over their good ideas usually going unnoticed and being yelled at by their superiors. They both agree that Joey is wayyy too uptight for what it's worth.
- Wally also has ADHD, which can make it difficult for him to focus on long and detailed instructions without spacing out halfway through. This is why he has trouble remembering how to keep the ink machine clean and in working order.
Grant Cohen:
- Literally the human embodiment of stress.
- Regrets agreeing to be Joey's accountant at least 12 times a day.
- Spends pretty much ALL day in his office. Only comes out for more coffee.
Thomas Connor:
- A gruff, no nonsense sort of guy. He doesn't buy Joey's little facade for a moment and isn't afraid to criticize the man's abysmal knowledge of pipes.
- He always says he won't be doing any more repair jobs for Joey, but he always comes back nonetheless. He doesn't like Joey in the slightest, but he can't deny the man pays well for repairs.
Lacie Benton:
- Lacie is a small, older lady who is fresh out of fucks to give. She will look Joey in the eye and give him nothing but an unimpressed stare and a drag on her cigarette before turning and going right back to her work.
- The only thing to come close to giving Lacie the willies is that hellish-looking animatronic Bertrum keeps at her work station. Humans, she can deal with, but robots designed to sing and dance are something far creepier than any human could ever be to her.
- The only person she is remotely close to being friends with is Norman. He's a good listener and she always appreciates his company.
Bertum Piedmont:
- The only man who's ever come close to rivaling Joey Drew's eccentricity.
- Because of how similar they are, Joey and Bertrum butted heads a lot. Joey had a very specific vision in mind for Bendy Land, whilst Bertrum insisted he step back and let him do his work.
- Obviously, he absolutely loathes being called 'Bertie'. Do not call his this if you want him to have a vendetta against you for the rest of your life.
Thanks for reading! Please enjoy!

I'm a little surprised at that XD
She's got a rounder face and fairly feminine features, I never thought she looked too masculine XD

Ahh gotcha now! I got a strong older lady vibe from the sound of her tape, surprisingly enough.

Ok. Working on a short story with Perfect Bendy (Wally? I dunno who it'd be.) and Allison, too. Made something with them, too.

Why is Sammy Lawrence handsome?
Also, where's Shawn Flynn?

*ahem* Alice/Susie remarks that Sammy was "once a very handsome man" in Chapter 3. Even if she didn't, there's no reason for him to not look handsome.
I said in my description that I haven't quite nailed down a design for Shawn yet, so I haven't drawn him.
