Baku is a Mythological creature from Japanese Mythology and is known to devour nightmares.The creature came into being when the gods had left over pieces when they finished creating the rest of the animals.Bakus are not seen as evil in lore and are simply creatures that devour bad dreams. Young children would often call out to his creature to take their bad dreams away.
