I cannot title my art WHY
this is from an au of mine called fires of destiny. Here is a very quick overview of the storyline. Instead of going off on her own in book 1, Peril goes with Kestrel. Kestrel does not die because Morrowseer and Blister know better than to mess with a firescales. They are found by the seawing patrol, and Peril wants to go in the summer palace to see Clay. She is not let in, but stays nearby. The events of book 2 are otherwise more or less the same. Webs does not get injured by Blister because Peril. Instead of going to the rainforest the group heads off to the Scorpion den. They meet Blaze and ally with Thorn. Kestrel gets a redemption arc. Meanwhile, the alternate dod are sent on a mission: gain the trust of the dod and anyone with them, kill Peril, and if you kill your respective dragonet you get to replace them. Also, kill Webs and Kestrel. Fatespeaker won’t do any of these things, and is certain that Orche, Squid, Flame, and Viper wouldn’t either. Unfortunately, she is incorrect. One night, the alternate dod invite Peril to go swimming. Once she was in the water, she was attacked. Fatespeaker, horrified, tries to get them to stop, so Viper attacks her. After a while Squid, who has just been watching all of this go down, freaks out and runs away. Flame chases him. Squid’s yelling attracts a patrol, which manages to save Peril and Fatespeaker, have nasty wounds and scars from the incident.
