Rocono; part 2

For several days I was transported from place to place constantly restrained but feed by some unseen hand. Until I was loaded on a boat in a wooden crate with no food only a small bottle of water for six long days. No matter how much noise I made no one came to free me so I gave up and accepted my fate. I travel for several more days until I was brought before a man in a perfect white lab coat with the letters TGRI above his name Dr. A.J. Kaiser. I was lined up with nine others 5 men and four women of varied ages and ethnicity. The man to my left had dark hair, bright eyes and a model figure. He turn and looked at me and I saw all the fear I had felt reflected in his eyes in silence we stared at each other until I realized that the doctor was saying he only wanted the two of us that others weren’t what he was looking for. I was horrified he was speaking English with clean and clear perfection. I cried to him, “please I am American please release me take me home I was taken by these men.” He put his hands up and made that soothing sounds of “shhh” and asked me what my name was and where I was from. I told him and he spoke to one of the six other men in white coats then gave a sign to the five armed men in uniforms behind us, they grabbed him and me and directed us away. He never let me go and he never talked to me again.

One Year later Zaphod and I escaped the night after I gave birth to our first daughter Ramona. We went in as humans and came out as mutants. I was given a common desert lizards DNA and was exposed to the radioactive toxic waste. I changed I grew scales all over most of my body and a tail. I could see perfectly in the dark, climb walls without ever falling and I am 5 times stronger than I was before. Zaphod was give some sort of turtle DNA and exposed to the radioactive toxic waste. His shell is unbreakable. He too has scales, can see in the dark and is 10 times stronger than any man.
