I hope you don't mind me asking a couple of questions, just to clarify some things before I make the OC!
1. For the sake of clarification, if an orient convinced a human to shatter/ smash the mask would they be free?
2. Would the element of shape be alright, the ability going with it being the ability to manipulate the shape of their body, mostly in the sense of size changes and colour changes?
3.What do you think would be a balanced ability for someone with the element of time, if that's even a possibility?

k so, couple of questions about an orient I wanted to make, I was thinking of making a music orient, and since her back story means she had no one to raise her to be good, yet she wanted to be good on her own, could I possibly have her be a kind yet extremely mischevious orient who likes to annoy people for fun? Cause a bullet point sorta pointed to orients at the least being mischevious little(or not so little I guess) pranksters.
also, out of curiosity would teeth be considered an uncommon trait?Β
third question, would it be ok for my orient to have like little limb studs where she could have had wings but didn't due to a birth defect? Like little stubs with some webbed looking wings on them? I understand if you wouldn't want to allow that due to trying to cut down on rare trait allowances.
also, since her element is Music, and sound needs a medium, would it be ok if she had extremely limited control over wind or water? Like all she could do is make it move a small bit or amplify sounds?
LAST QUESTION I PROMISE!! OK so would an Orient, who's element was not water, to have gills? again, I'm just curious.Β

So, how does the whole parenting/guardian thing work out? What are orient families like? Asking out of curiosity for when I get to the backstory.

oh, OK then, thanks, good thing I came up with a different idea of having a sail down the back, and then two more in a way that was kinda like wings, but really isn't. Her mom came from a long line of water orients, hence the slightly aquatic appearance, and her dad was a wind orient. But both of them were sealed and locked awayΒ when my oc was really little, like, barely out of the egg little. Would that be alright?

That'd be fine, but the aquatic appearance and everything isn't really genetic for Orients, the traits I have more generic is horns/antenna, ears, and eyes

Well genetically an pair of Orient parents only can pass down the traits of having horns, antenna, ears, and number of eyes. As for relationship wise it depends on the orients involved. It can be where the parents don't keep the egg and the baby has to fend for itself or be adopted by other Orients, or the parents keep it and are either good or bad, or one parent doesn't stick around, etc. If a baby is left to fend for itself it'll be just fine but there's then no one to be an example for them on how to be when they grow up, good or bad

So I wanted to ask for the Orient I'm making, Β her power is over technology, would it be ok for her to have an second set of arms? As in the sense that the second set of arms represent the dependence most people have for technology.

Also one other question, how do the tails work? Are they able to have multiple tails just naturally or does it depend on the element?

The tails are also under the limb category, their appearance can vary but it should be rare for them to be split or have more than one

I have looked through the list of Orients' others have made and see only two with split tails?So may my Orient have a second tail please? And I understand if I can't as you said it is a rare trait.
