Description The UES Cruiser Dauntless was among the Earth ships that fought in the Battle of Zeta Reticuli in 2156. Here the Dauntless brings all weapons to bear against the Romulan onslaught as the UES Firebrand, under the command of Captain Arthur Stiles, explodes in the background.
Unfortunately, Pioneer and other fusion-powered cruisers were ill-suited for the demands of deep space ship-to-ship combat when war with the Romulans came in 2156. Although Pioneers were effective point-defense cruisers for convoys and colonies, they were poorly suited for border-defense or offensive missions far from their support bases. UE fleets based around Pioneers were frequently outmaneuvered by attacking Romulan forces, with often disastrous results. Therefore, Pioneers were quickly replaced on the front lines when the first M/AM warships entered service in 2157. - From the Starfleet Museum Data Banks.

Thanks
It would have been neat. The designs are cool.
In fact there is an Enterprise from this time period. It's one of the UES Yorktown Class Carriers.

I see! Like I said, shame the "prequel" never went like this. I have seen the designs and they make a heck of a lot of sense. I loved the way Mazao Okanazi did the history and the development - and I also very much agree with the attitude of "always saucers with a nacelle here or there".

These ships aree good ospring of the Phoenix.

Shame.

Good work matey

Nice ambience! (I actually said oooooooh out loud lol) Did you reverse engineer the Tallguy Enterprise scene for this or is this all your own doing?

Thanks.
Nope. I did it all by myself. Took the better part of two days before I was happy with the lighting.

Seems to be the mandatory time for prep. Three days and you overwork it, and any less it lacks...lol.

Well it paid off bigtime!
