Description
From the Stranded story "Staged".This is Puck. Yes, THE Puck.
He is a 1,916 year old fairy and a self-proclaimed trickster who enjoys causing mischief, who was once friends with William Shakespeare and partially helped inspire his play A Midsummers Night Dream.
Just like in legend, Puck is tricky, mischievous and not afraid to pull pranks on mortals just for a quick laugh. He also holds a deep loyalty to Queen Titania and holds Shakespeare in high regard as an old friend, and thus, is VERY protective of his work and becomes furious when he sees someone disrespecting either of them, which Sam found out the hard way when she unintentionally angered him with her own "version" of Titania in the school play. He also deeply loves Shakespeare's work and makes it a point NOT to cause any trouble when the play is being put on, showing his regard for his friend is genuine.
Puck can be short tempered when he feels like he or someone he cares about is being degraded or not treated with the proper respect and is not afraid to give mortals a taste of what he believes is karma. In spite of this, Puck does have morals. He refuses to seriously hurt or kill anyone during his pranks, preferring to just to scare, humiliate or otherwise inconvenience mortals instead. He also seems to have a soft spot for kids, as he protected Pierre and made sure he didn't get hurt during one of his stunts.
Puck also shows no patience for people who are intentionally malicious such as Colette and Beatrice, and made a point to punish them for their sins. He also caused trouble for Christopher for being mean to Star and because he felt that his high and mighty attitude was not warranted since Star had already been a nicer person at that point.
While he is much more powerful and not afraid to fight, Puck can be reasoned with. Danny, upon realizing he can't beat him, settled for making a deal with him in order to end his reign of mischief, which he agreed to. He honored his end of the deal, and genuinely praised Team Phantom for a good show before leaving, but not before warning Sam not to try a stunt like she did again.
In terms of appearance, he's based on the Puck from Gargoyles.
Danny Phantom is owned by Nickelodeon/Paramount Global
