Description

Episode Synopsis: The Eds are trying to find a four-leaf clover so that it can bring them some luck. Ed ends up finding is a rare flower called a baby blue gym sock. Eddy finally finds a four-leaf clover and as he does, Ed is frightened when he suddenly hears a growling noise, thinking it’s a monster, but Eddy points out it just his stomach, so they decide to go to his house and make some pizza. They come across Sarah and Jimmy playing hopscotch, Double D giving Sarah the flower, which causes her to suddenly fall madly in love with him and goes after him, leaving Jimmy behind. The Eds are at Eddy’s house making the pizza, Double D following the directions while Eddy is overdoing the ingredients and Ed is purposely making a mess like he said he would earlier. Sarah soon arrives and begins to torment Double D with her romantic advances while Jimmy is sadly watching from the window. The Eds eventually escape Sarah, but she catches up to them later, the Eds once again forced to give her the slip, by Eddy giving her a ‘poem’ Double D wrote that reads “Get lost.” Meanwhile, Jimmy is goes from lonely to angry, crushing another baby blue gym sock flower he found, ripping the head off his teddy bear with his teeth like a wild animal, and trying to hit Johnny and Plank when they pass by, wondering what’s going on. Back with the Eds, they’re trying to make a life size paper-mache dinosaur, but Sarah shows up and ruins it, turning the whole scene into chaos, causing Double D to get trapped in the quick drying paper-mache. Eddy and Ed go to find Jimmy and bring him back to Sarah. The Eds have Sarah and Jimmy meet up and they go off together to pleat Jimmy’s curtains. Annoyed by the day they had, Eddy throws away the four-leaf clover only for Johnny and Plank to come across it as well as a twenty dollar bill. Seeing this, Eddy complains that that’s our luck, Double D saying that that’s always their luck. Episode ends once again with Ed’s stomach growling.

Episode Thoughts: Okay, thoughts on the episode is that it’s a good episode, one of the more average ones I’d say. I think I mentioned it with the first episode, but on the Sarah and Double D crush, it’s Sarah whose has the crush on Double D, not the other way around and this is the first episode that shows that. I enjoyed the episode, but I think the best parts were the one that didn’t involve Sarah chasing after Double D and it does seem kinda anti-climactic that all it took to make Sarah go away was having her a Jimmy meet up. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is the first episode where some calls the Eds dorks and it’s not Kevin because but Kevin wasn’t in this show Eddy.

Favorite Line:I’ll get in the way and make a big mess.

Favorite Scene: I don’t really have a favorite scene for this episode, but to pick a moment that I enjoyed slightly more than the others, I’ll say it’s while the Eds are making the pizza, Eddy and Ed say the name of an item and what it’s made of “Cheese. Swiss” and “Pepperoni. Italian” and “Slicer. Aluminum.”
