Description
Quyi-gor in the words of the ancient Oyri translates to cursed. This title was granted to the whole of the Darkland Peninsula.

According to Legends a massive war was fought in this place between the Ancient Guardians, (Oyri) and the Darkling Expanse.
The Darkling Expanse was said to be a cult of Chaos Worshippers. A hive of tyranny that lived for the destruction of the innocent. The war waged for years leaving the region in ruins and spelling the end for the Oyri and the Darkling alike.

Ever since that fateful day the Quyi-gor peninsula has attracted countless explorers searching for artifacts of times long gone. It is said that the one who holds these artifacts, could hold the key to shaping the future of the realm. Unfortunately the truth of these rumors is more uncertain than ever.

Anyone who has ventured into the depths of Quyi-gor has either never returned, or denies that there is anything of value in within the ruins of the once vibrant land.

Quyi-gor Keep is the first destination for travelers who visit the peninsula, and also the only location in the region that is populated. A humble farming town said to be sat on the shores of hell. Even on the edge of this realm, there is evidence of the war between the Oyri and Darkling. The town and other landmarks sat precariously amongst treacherous slopes and cliffs. How this settlement has not sank beneath the ruined soil is a mystery.

Other notable landmarks are the reservoir which provides the town's water. Consisting of little more than a crater that is filled by the generous rainfall of the region.

The town inn has a very meager selection on its menu.The innkeeper has said that this is to discourage travelers from becoming comfortable. "The sooner they leave, the better off they'll be!"

Finally there is the keep itself. An ominous fortress seemingly built by the Darkling. Dark stone walls and surrounding obelisks send an unspoken warning of what's to come for travelers who venture into the peninsula, and pass through the gates of hell.

All of these things did not dissuade the Explorer's Guild. A ragtag group of treasure Hunters labeled as Heroes to some anarchist to others.

Led by the Garchomp, Kathy Holloway, this group of explorers is determined to uncover The Mystery of the Quyi-gor peninsula, and thoroughly unwilling to leave empty pawed. And according to Kathy the Guild has an ace up its sleeve. The location of a being who can lead the guild through the hazards of the peninsula, known simply as the Archivist.

With confidence in their hearts and treasure on their minds the guild is determined to succeed where others failed...
