Watching the 1991 “The Little Engine That Could” short film really warmed my heart, and in general I think it’s a movie that everyone should watch at least once; it’s visually beautiful, the line-deliveries are memorable, and its music tends to be very catchy upon first listening.
The 1991 version is arguably the most iconic and recognizable incarnation of the original story, and for a good reason — especially considering that the traditional engines of the story are all now given proper names, charming designs, as well as defining quirks.

Naturally for a start, I decided to go for Tillie first.
Her design in the movie honestly kind of adorable, and I wanted to reflect that image into this one. I also took a little bit of Spyro-inspiration for her build.
