Made this in response to a number of arguments I've seen made that conservatives - Christians especially - are hateful and bigoted for refusing to use preferred pronouns, or approve acts we believe are wrong. But is it hateful to simply not speak what one does not believe? Is refusing to approve what we fear will hurt someone any more bigoted than declining to supply a bottle opener to an alcoholic?

If we acted as these people act, and demanded as they demand, we should be justly called what they call us. And yet they feel wholly justified in acting far worse than what they consider wrong in us. Show me the justice or sanity in that.
