Description
This is an Abyssal Mer. They are rarely ever seen, so rare infact many think the do not exist. Feared by the Deep Sea Mer they are often used in story to scare children from swimming to close to the edge of the Abyss.
They may be half the size of other Mer but they have an animalistic ferocity. Thier side fins have evolved into barbs that let them cling to the wall of the Abyss and under sea caves so they can drop on their pray, tearing at them with claws and teeth
