Description

Day 21: The Soft Tumblesponge is an alien species from a desert windy planet which evolved to take advantage of the environment, developing into a hollow spherical net which inside it captures all the particles that come into its path as are carried away by the wind.

They have a simple skeleton of tubes and articulations which maintains the structure and is capable of folding when it needs to stop.
The structure of the skeleton as well the functionality of its folding was inspired mostly from those special Collapsible Sphere Toys.
